LC4 Chaise Longue

Design Inspired by Le Corbusier

LC4 Chaise Longue is available in Italian leather, aniline leather, cowhide, chenille, linen fabric or velvet upholstery.

The LC4 Chaise Lounge, originally designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand, is one of the most celebrated icons of modern design. First exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in 1929 and originally commissioned for a villa in Ville d’Avray, France, the LC4—often referred to as the “relaxing machine”—was created to follow the natural curves of the body, offering unparalleled comfort while giving the appearance of floating above its base.

Its ergonomic design allows the tubular, polished stainless steel frame to glide effortlessly on a black lacquered steel base, adjusting naturally with the user’s weight to support multiple reclining positions. Upholstered in luxurious Italian leather or cowhide/pony hide, with a leather-wrapped headrest and cushion backing in either leather or fabric, the LC4 exemplifies refined craftsmanship and timeless comfort. Low-density foam padding ensures soft support, making it one of the most versatile and elegant chaise lounges ever created.

Whether featured in a contemporary living room or a modern office, the LC4 blends art and function in a way that remains effortlessly sophisticated to this day.
